Three-card tarot reading
Three cards create a short narrative while keeping every position distinct. Choose the layout before drawing so the labels guide interpretation instead of being changed to fit the result.
Situation, challenge, and approach
Use this layout for a current decision or problem. The first card describes the situation, the second highlights a tension or obstacle, and the third suggests an approach to consider.
Past, present, and possible direction
Use this layout to reflect on sequence. “Future” is deliberately framed as a possible direction shaped by present conditions and choices, not as a fixed event.
Read relationships between cards
Begin with each position separately. Then notice repeated suits, contrasts between action and reflection, and whether the final card develops or challenges the earlier themes.
